The Thai Bank Museum was etablished in January 1996 as a hi-technology story telling center to depict the continuum of the country's Finance and Banking heritage, with two major objectives:

1. To exhibit SCB's collection of important documents, materials, and other bank assets that tell us
    the story of the evolution and development of Thailand's financial and banking systems.

2. To serve as a beneficial resource for future academic research. A walk-through will enable visitors
    to learn more about the evolution of money, the evolution of banking, the prototype for Thai banks, 
    as well as more about SCB past and present.
